• Historic hand-cranked PÜNTE in Wiltshusen, near LEER. It is a hand pulled ferry over the Jümme river. www.puentenverein.de
• Historic village in town of CLOPPENBURG. Wonderful Museum with old farm houses and equipment, demonstrating the traditional farming lifestyle, windmill. www.museumsdorf.de
• Town of BAD ZWISCHENAHN (BAD indicates  "BATH" aka "spa"), boasting a bustling shopping area, a                 picturesque lake, a lovely park replete with a historic, fully furnished, thatched-roof farmhouse museum     complex, consisting of various vintage buildings and an impressive windmill.
